Do diretor Nelson Pereira dos Santos o filme é baseado no livro homônimo de Helena Jobim, irmã de Tom Jobim e apresenta um retrato de Tom sob três narrações; da irmã helena e parceira do primeiro piano, Thereza Hermanny companheira de juventude e testemunha dos processos de criação do compositor e Ana Lontra Jobim co-autora dos ensaios poéticos do mestre Antônio Brasileiro.
O filme está em cartaz no Espaço Itaú de Cinema no Shopping Casa Park.
